# Vision

Introducing a token into the ZED RUN ecosystem enables the following functions:

1. A **connected economy** that creates value
2. A programmable unit of value that creates **utility, gameplay, access and optionality**

Please note, that all of this cannot happen at once. The team is committed to taking a structured and well thought out approach to ensure a sustainable ZED RUN economy as we continue to introduce more features and utility alongside the ZED Token.
