Token Rewards and Breeding Catalysts

Both Token Rewards and Breeding Catalyst NFTs will be limited to a fixed number of available retirement "slots" every month.

Token Rewards

Token rewards for retired racehorses will be supplemented by the Stud Farm as described in Breeding Rewards. The number of ZED tokens available for distribution each month will depend on the the availability of tokens in the Retirement Pool for the same period.

Breeding Catalysts

Breeding catalyst are used when breeding new offspring. This gives the offspring an extra ability boost, increasing the chance of a successful offspring as well as increasing the fun and reward for users. In addition, Breeding Catalysts can be traded as separate NFTs on the open market (i.e. OpenSea).

Breeding Catalysts will consist of five (5) rarity tiers:

• Common

• Uncommon

• Rare

• Epic

• Legendary

Breeding Catalysts can be earned through racehorse retirement. The rarity tier that you receive will be determined by your race rating and race activity. There may be other opportunities to obtain them in the future.
